What is a human blend wig?
A human-blend wig combines real human hair with high-grade synthetic fibres — giving you the natural look and movement of human hair with added durability and easier maintenance. Our blends are selected specifically for South Africa's climate: lightweight, breathable, and heat-tolerant.
What's the difference between HD lace and transparent lace?
HD (High Definition) lace is ultra-thin and melts into all skin tones — essentially invisible at the hairline. Transparent lace is slightly thicker, more forgiving to install, and works best on lighter to medium skin tones. New to lace wigs? Start with transparent. Want the most natural hairline possible? Go HD.
Do I need glue to wear a Crown Maison wig?
No. Our glueless styles (5×5 closure wigs and select glueless frontals) are designed to be worn without adhesive — adjustable straps and combs hold them secure. Frontal wigs can be worn with or without glue, depending on your preference.
How long does delivery take in South Africa?
We process all orders within 2–4 business days after payment is received. Once shipped, delivery to major cities (Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban) takes 2–5 business days. Outlying and rural areas take 5–7 business days We deliver across South Africa. Orders over R2,500 qualify for free delivery.
How much is delivery?
Delivery is a flat rate of R150
What if it doesn't fit or look right?
We offer a 3-day within 3 days of delivery, for defective or wrong items only. Reach out via WhatsApp or email and we'll sort it — no complicated forms, no long waits.
How do I make my wig last?
Wash with sulfate-free shampoo in cool water. Detangle gently before washing. Air dry on a wig stand. Avoid heat above 180°C. Store in the satin bag when not in use. With proper care, a Crown Maison wig lasts 12–18 months of regular wear.
I've never worn a wig before. Is this right for me?
Yes — and we built easy-wear styles specifically with first-time wearers in mind. Our glueless 5×5 closure wigs require no adhesive, no salon visit, and no prior experience. They come with an installation guide, and our Lace Guide page walks you through everything before you buy. Will I receive a tracking number for my order?
